Q: Fasting is supposed to be hard—shouldn’t I just push through?

A: I used to believe that, too—that suffering was part of the process, and if I was struggling, I must be doing it right. But I learned that supporting my body with the right nutrition actually deepened my spiritual connection, rather than taking away from it. This course will show you how to do the same.

Q: What if I have dietary restrictions? Will the program still work for me?

A: The recipes in the program are naturally gluten-free and primarily focus on animal-based protein sources for optimal satiety and energy. 


However, I’ve also included a vegetarian meal plan option for those who prefer it. While the outcomes may vary depending on the protein sources you choose, vegetarian participants will likely still see significant improvements by following the principles of balanced nutrition, hydration, and strategic planning taught in the course. 


My goal is to support you in thriving during the Fast, no matter your dietary preferences.

Q: Are you just capitalizing on the Bahá'í Fast for your own profits?

Bahá’u’lláh has said, “Occupation and labor are devotion. All humanity must obtain a livelihood by sweat of the brow and bodily exertion, at the same time seeking to lift the burden of others, striving to be the sources of comfort to souls and facilitating the means of living. This in itself is devotion to God.” 

My intention in creating Thriving Through the Bahá'í Fast is to share the knowledge and skills I’ve gained as a nutritionist to serve others during this sacred time. This program is designed to help women experience the physical and spiritual benefits of fasting in a more meaningful and fulfilling way. I believe that by helping others feel nourished, balanced, and spiritually connected during the Fast, I am offering a service that aligns with these teachings.

 As 'Abdu'l-Bahá beautifully reminds us, “Every person must have an occupation, a trade or a craft, so that he may carry other people’s burdens, and not himself be a burden to others.”
